Inmates cannot receive phone calls while incarcerated in the facility.  However, inmates can place collect calls to phone numbers where collect calling is not restricted. This is the most common method of placing calls from the facility.

Individuals wishing to receive calls from an inmate will need to call VIA Path Technologies 1-877-650-4249 to set up an account. The facility number is 15773.

If you wish to have your telephone number blocked to prevent collect calls or have the block removed from your telephone you can call 215-5135.

• Collect phone calls from inmates are subject to be monitored and/or recorded. An attempt to “call transfer” or “3-way conference” during the call will cause the call to be disconnected and your number is subject for suspension.
• Calls to some phone numbers may be restricted by the facility for security reasons.  
• Inmates will be limited to (5) telephone numbers in which to call during their stay at the Bay County Jail. 
• Numbers may only be adjusted once every six months during an enrollment period by the inmate classification counselor.
